Overseen by Director Professor Krishna Chatterjee and our Director of Clinical operations, Caroline Saunders, the Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) carefully appraises all research applications and the resources they will require. The SAB members’ collective expertise and experience is extremely broad-based, so you can be assured of its competence to assess study proposals in a range of diverse disciplines, and if needed we can undertake formal Peer Review.
Following SAB review your project will be allocated to one of our units depending on the requirements of the study. For example, overnight and paediatric studies will always be allocated to our CRF. Studies requiring administration of cytotoxic drugs, or endoscopy procedures will be allocated to our CIW. We recommend that you contact us early to discuss your project in advance of a formal application, we can help with assessing feasibility, costs for grant applications and direct research costs for commercial studies.
