Research Skills for Clinicians
- 04-05 February 2023 at the Møller Institute, Cambridge
A two-day course designed to meet curriculum requests on research skills and knowledge and is delivered by clinicians – all with expert and hands-on experience. The programme consist of lectures, practical exercises and worked examples in a stimulating and motivating format that has been commissioned by the East of England Multi-professional Deanery. The programme is available to all medical trainees.

Introduction for Clinical Research Staff
A two-day course for non-medical healthcare professionals new to working in a clinical research role at the NIHR Cambridge Biomedical Research Centre.
Key components of the course:
- Understanding and applying key concepts relevant to research ethics, incl. NRES approval, setting up a study, consenting and recruiting participants
- Research Governance
- Safety reporting
- Data management & information governance in clinical research
This course is a joint initiative by the Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Department for Research & Development, NIHR Cambridge Biomedical Research Centre and NIHR Cambridge Clinical Research Facility.
